Welcome to my website! My name is Nick Carbonaro and I am an Associate Professor at Long Beach City College in the Department of Business Administration and Economics. Teaching such innovative courses has allowed me to create better classes, which have resulted in better results for my students which have ultimately created a better future.
Private Sector Experience
Over a decade of work experience at Costco Wholesale in a variety of managerial positions in departments such as the Food Court, Deli and Front End Services. This private sector experience has shaped my teaching style so that I am able to incorporate real life situations to the students.

Technology Focused
Business is all about innovation and my class is no different. We use a variety of technological applications to enhance the student's learning experience including teaching all my face to face classes in the most tech advanced, active learning classroom. All in-person class sections are taught in a state-of-the-art, smarthub/active learning classroom and require and encourage students to use some form of smart device. Tests, lectures and class activities are all distributed via smart devices.
